Possible X-plane VR FPS boost trick.
For all X-plane Vulcan/metal VR pilots out there.
I might have notice a small FPS boost in VR.
I config X-plane to use in non VR the sreen in full screen mode in the lowest setting it can.
This will give that screen the maximum FPS.
Switching to VR does not effect the clarity in VR but the strain of the always open non VR screen is reduced on the workload.
Because of fullscreen it also uses the GPU to the max so also a FPS booster.
It is not much but every fraction counts.
OpenGl windowed or window made no FPS difference.
It seems that Vulcan Fullscreen is faster then Windowed.
