Humberside like many regional airports offers IT holiday flights to Mediterranean destinations mainly during the summer months. There are several flying schools at Humberside and a new Bae Systems training centre. The most recently addition is the new Search and Rescue base which is operated by Bristows S-92 helicopters replacing the recently retired RAF Seakings based at the now closed RAF Leconfield.
