Is torque meter the power indication

For fix wing aircraft, we know how many % of engine power been used by looking at N1(rotor RPM), manifold pressure, or EPR(engine pressure ratio). By those indication we can also know how much power is still available.

What about helicopters? Do we use torque meter to know percentage of power used? Since RPM should remain in green arc.

Thanks.

You have the torquemeter but also have a “power” indicator. I usually rely on the gas producer gauge (NG).
