If you’re using a Mac then some of you may run into issues with SASL, Xlua or even all plugins being blocked. If you cannot find the custom Cowan Sim menus, or cannot remove the accessories, then that is a sure sign that the code required to use the aircraft is not running. You will need to add X-Plane 11 to the safe list in your Mac security settings. After doing so, then all plugins will run fine, including all of your other aircrafts with plugins.

As a Mac X-Plane simmer with the vSkyLabs Cabri-G2 heli, and IVAO pilot client - understanding this sequence has been crucial. It takes a few “start, click, quit, allow, restart, click, password, quit, restart” sequences after installing a new aircraft or plugin or scenery pack, and sometimes after updating x-plane, but once x-plane starts with no warnings you are good to go fly.
Same process after installing X-Plane 12 Early Access, and my heli. (Reported a bug and put v12 on the shelf for a month for others to find the bugs and for the performance to get tuned.)
